Spring seems to have sprung at last, at least here in the upper Midwest; I hope you are enjoying pleasant weather as well. The Print Registration form is up now. Print the PDF and mail today to be the first in line for activites with limited space. The online registration form will be up next week.

The Guild of Natural Science Illustrators 2013 Conference Committee is excited to welcome you to Bar Harbor, Maine! We offer an outstanding lineup of workshops and presentations, events and field trips, so make plans to share and learn with illustrators from far and wide. It will be an outstanding week of fun, camaraderie, and networking.

Register early! Housing on campus is limited, and we have put together an excellent room-and-board package. Dorms are new or...

Election time for the next Guild of Natural Science Illustrators President

 

All members in good standing are eligible to vote on the next President of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators. The newly-elected President of the GNSI will serve as President Elect for one year, President for two years, and Immediate Past President for one year. The nominee for this position is Amelia Janes.

Spring Greetings, GNSI members and followers! The weather is finally threatening to warm up, and so is the activity on the GNSI website. We plan to have a Conference registration form and website finally up sometime the week of April 15th. Until then you can get an overview of pricing here.

Since we were all hibernating, the deadline for entering the annual Members Exhibit has been extended to APRIL 16 for online entries only;...

Are you all just coming out of hibernation now that there's a hint of warmth in the air? Have you finished your taxes (um...I haven't...) Did your Winter Journal just arrive with the GNSI Annual Members' Exhibit information inside, and did you realize you missed the Members' Exhibit deadline?

Never Fear!
We are extending the submission deadline two weeks to give all of you groundhogs a chance to enter. REMEMBER: You do NOT need to attend the conference to enter the exhibit, although we will miss you if you don't come!

Dear GNSI members,

The basic home page for the GNSI annual meeting is up, but the full selection of information will not be released until some time next week. Until then you can find the immediately needed GNSI 2013 Member's Exhibit forms and the new Online Submission form links on the home page!

TRAVELING EXHIBIT IN UTAH
The GNSI Traveling Exhibit, of 20 framed illustrations and an additional portfolio of approximately 50 unframed works, was unveiled to the public on January 10, 2013 for a six-week show at The Prehistoric Museum in Price, Utah.

The GNSI Journal of Natural Science Illustration - Winter 2013 is now available online as a pdf download from the GNSI Online Storefront: free to members.
